摘要: A microfilm projection apparatus is disclosed which is usable for a plurality of zoom lenses having different magnification ranges from each other. In the zoom lenses attached, the zoom lens selected from the plurality of zoom lenses to be used is identified. A plurality of specific magnifications corresponding to each zoom lens are memorized. When the zoom lens is set in place, the specific memorized magnifications corresponding to the selected zoom lens are indicated. The magnification of the zoom lens is set to the desired magnification designated from the specific magnifications.

摘要: A microfilm image processing apparatus in which a plurality of zoom lenses having different ranges of magnification are provided in a manner that each of the lenses is movable into and out of a position operative to project a beam of light carrying an image on a microfilm strip onto a target plane, wherein the individual zoom lenses are associated with movable members so that the effective magnification of each of the zoom lenses is variable with movement of the associated movable member, and wherein the movable members are interconnected together and are to be driven for concurrent movement by a driving force having a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction, the driving force having the first direction resulting in movement of one of the zoom lenses in a direction to increase in the magnification of the lens and movement of another lens in a direction to decrease in the magnification of the lens.

摘要: A reader-printer for copying on a recording paper an image recorded in a microfilm is disclosed, which reader-printer is provided with shutter members capable of intercepting the projected light passing through the part of margin bordering the image. The size of the image in the microfilm is memorized in a memory. The size of the image to be copied and the size of the recording paper on which this image is to be formed are compared based on the ratio of magnification of projection of a projection lens to be used for projecting light through the image on a photosensitive member. The shutter members are driven based on a result of the comparison so that, of the path of the projected light directed to the photosensitive member, the part corresponding to the margin is automatically intercepted by the shutter members.

摘要: A microfilm image processing apparatus in which a carriage unit carrying a plurality of projection lenses arranged in an array is provided in conjunction with a microfilm holder, wherein two different paths of light are to be selectively established, one from the carriage unit toward a viewing screen and the other from the carriage unit toward any light receiving member such as a photosensitive drum for producing electrostatic latent images and wherein the carriage unit is movable back and force in a direction perpendicular to the path of light from the microfilm holder either for scanning the image on a microfilm strip retained in the microfilm holder or moving a selected one of the plurality of projection lenses on the carriage unit into a position aligned with the path of light from the microfilm holder, each of the projection lenses being preferably of the zoom type and being axially movable by the carriage unit to provide a variable magnification ratio within a range prescribed for each projection lens.

摘要: A microfilm image processing apparatus in which a plurality of zoom lenses having different ranges of magnification are provided for selective use and in which each of the zoom lenses has an associated zoom control gear coaxially disposed aroung the lens to be capable of driving the associated zoom lens for axial movement to vary the effective magnificatio ratio to be achieved by the lens, wherein an angular position detector of, for example, the stroboscopic pickup type is provided in conjunction with the zoom control gear on at least one of the zoom lenses to detect the angular position of each of the zoom lenses and thereby determine the magnification ratios achievable by the individual zoom lenses, and an integral magnification ratio detector is provided in association with the zoom control gear on each of the zoom lenses to detect a particular angular position of the associated zoom control gear, the particular angular position of each zoom lens being such that the zoom lens associated with the gear provides an integral magnification ratio. The magnification ratios determined by the angular position detector are stored into a memory and the magnification ratio to be achieved by a selectged one of the zoom lenses may be corrected when the zoom control gear on the zoom lens is detected to be in the particular angular position thereof.

摘要: An ink jet recording apparatus which effects non-impact recording by the application of a jet of ink to a recording medium while the amount of ink to be jetted towards the recording medium is controlled to render it proportional to the recording velocity. For this purpose, the ink jet recording apparatus is provided with a feed-back loop system through which an electrical signal indicative of the pressure acting on the ink within an ink tank is fed back to a comparator to control operation of a compressed air source from which the pressure is applied to compensate for reduction in static pressure of the ink within the ink tank resulting from consumption of the ink. For maintaining the amount of the ink jetted proportional to the recording velocity, various arrangements are disclosed.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a reader printer which handles an image of a microfilm held by an aperture card and maintained in such a manner that the microfilm center aligns with the center of card aperture. At the time of printing, the image of the microfilm is projected by scanning from a scanning start position that is same irrespective of film sizes on a photosensitive member, and the image thereon is transferred to a paper sheet which is provided by cutting the web supplied from rolled paper. The supply of the web is controlled by a first timer which starts simultaneously with start of scanning and the cutting of the web is controlled by a second timer which starts simultaneously with expiration of the first timer.
