Abstract: An object is to provide a binder for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that undergoes less deterioration or less viscosity increase in a case where the binder is mixed with an active material containing a large amount of base or the like and that is stable for a long period of time. The binder for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that solves the issue described above includes a vinylidene fluoride polymer, the vinylidene fluoride polymer containing a structural unit derived from vinylidene fluoride and a structural unit derived from a compound represented by a specific structural formula and having a melting point of 165° C. or higher.
