    摘要: A fluid control system for controlling a fluid motor (12) wherein a pressure regulating pilot valve (10) controls a directional control valve (11) by manipulation of handle (21) associated with the pilot valve (10). The directional control valve (11) includes a make-up valve (84). The pilot valve (10) includes a spool (26) having a recess (98) providing selective communication between the backside of the movable valve member (86) of the make-up valve and an exhaust recess (100) communicating with the reservoir tank (36). A direct mechanical connection is provided from the handle (21) to the spool (26) as the result of an abutment of an upper end portion (102) of the spool (26) with a surface (49) on the plunger (28) engaged by the control handle in effecting the positive movement of the spool (26) to effect the desired communication between the recess (98) and recess (100). The spool normally is resiliently movable to effect a desired pressure regulation fluid flow through the pilot valve (10).

    摘要: A fluid power control system (17) having an improved control valve (20) providing reduced regulated pressure fluid selectively from a high pressure pump supply (P) or the fluid motor (10) under conditions wherein the pump supply has failed to supply the desired pressurized fluid. The system utilizes a control valve (20) having a spool (29) provided with first transfer passage (41) and second transfer passage (42). The first transfer passage is adjustably throttled as a result of movement of the spool relative to an adjacent inlet port (37) and the second transfer passage (42) is adjustably throttled by movement of the spool relative to an adjacent inlet port (38). Inlet port (37) is connected to the high pressure fluid supply P and inlet port (38) is connected to the head end (13) of the cylinder (11) of the fluid motor through a check valve (44). Valve (20) provides selective pressure regulated fluid through an outlet port (36) thereof either from the pressurized fluid supply P when that apparatus is functioning or from the fluid motor in the event of a failure of the fluid supply. In each case, the valve provides the fluid at a desired operating pressure. The pressure regulated fluid may be used to operate a pilot valve (22) controlling a main valve (14) for adjustably positioning the piston (12) of the fluid motor.

    摘要: A fluid system (10) having a directional control valve (12) operated by a pilot valve (11) having a manually operable control handle (22) for selectively controlling a fluid motor (14) in positioning a load (17). The pilot valve (11) includes a spool (31) cooperating with associated portions of the pilot valve to provide a pressure regulated pilot signal to the directional control valve during normal operation of the system. Spool (31) includes a recess (98) which is placed in communication with the high pressure portion of the motor cylinder (16) during a dead engine condition by manipulation of handle (22) to provide pressure regulated delivery of the fluid from the motor (14) through recess (98) and to the conduit normally controlling the directional control valve for effecting a controlled lowering or retraction of the load. A single pilot valve is utilized for effecting the pressure regulated control in both normal and dead engine conditions.

A mechanism (48) holds a first control valve (20) in an actuated position in response to movement of the handle (29) along a first axis (44) while freeing the handle (29) to return to a neutral position. Further movement of the handle (29) along a different axis to operate the second actuator (18) does not override the automatic stopping of the first actuator (16). The mechanism (48) provides a more precise control of automatically stopping one actuator while simultaneously operating the second actuator.

This eliminates the need to provide complicated systems having pilot operated check valves which are more difficult to control.
