    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a laser scanning unit that irradiates a light. A photoconductive medium forms thereon an electrostatic latent image using the light from the laser scanning unit. A developing roller transfers a developer onto the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoconductive medium to develop the electrostatic latent image. A transferring roller forms a transfer nip in tight contact with the photoconductive medium and transfers the developer attached on the photoconductive medium onto a paper passing through the transfer nip. A paper supplying part stacks the paper thereon. A pickup roller picks up the paper stacked on the paper supplying part. A paper edge sensor senses a top edge of the paper picked up by the pickup roller. The paper picked up by the pickup roller is directly supplied toward the transfer nip. A paper moving path is reduced, thereby minimizing the whole size of the image forming apparatus. Also, the number of parts is reduced, thereby decreasing material costs.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a laser scanning unit that irradiates a light.     摘要: A developer includes a developer frame in which a developing agent is contained, a development roller that is rotatably disposed inside the developer frame. Coupling means couples the development roller to the developer frame. The coupling means includes a gear member that is rotatably mounted to the developer frame and engages a first gear disposed outside the developer to transfer a rotational force. A development roller end portion rotates with the gear member in the same direction about the same rotational shaft as the gear member. An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive medium on which an electrostatic latent image corresponding to an image to be printed is formed through light scanning and the developer, which applies a developing agent to the photosensitive medium to develop the image into a visible image.

    摘要: A warming-up method for an electrophotography image forming apparatus. The warming-up method includes the steps of turning on a heat source when the image forming apparatus is turned on or when a wake-up event is generated in a power saving mode, driving an image fix-related driving body for rotating a heated roller and a pressing roller, thereby heating the rollers; driving a main driving body and rotating an OPC drum after driving the image fix-related driving body; and stopping the sub-driving body and the main driving body when surface temperature of the heated roller and surface temperature of the pressing roller reach an objective temperature, respectively, by means of heat from the heat source and rotation of the heated roller and the pressing roller.
