Abstract:
Disclosed is a mosquito attracting and killing apparatus with an air cleaning function. The mosquito attracting and killing apparatus attracts mosquitoes using a UV lamp and the mosquitoes are sucked into a collecting net by operation of a fan. The contiuous operation of the fan prevents the mosquitoes from escaping out of the collecting net and kills them. In addition, the mosquito attracting and killing apparatus employs a hopper having a tapered shape to easily clean the inside of the apparatus and efficiently reflect UV light emitted from the UV lamp.
Abstract:
A reel table moving device for a video cassette tape recorder includes a mechanism for automatically positioning a pair of reel tables in response to insertion of a predetermined size video cassette without the need for an independent drive motor or sensor. The device includes a pair of protrusions mounted to opposite end portions of a moving member which are adapted to engage the tape cassette being inserted into the inlet port. The moving member moves in response to insertion of the tape cassette into the inlet port. In turn, an actuating member is connected to and moves in response to the movement of the moving member for causing the reel tables to move to a desired position for receiving a predetermined size tape cassette.
Abstract:
A personal data communication apparatus that provides a camera, a magnified image in a display and a video telecommunication system within a compact handset housing is disclosed. The personal data communication apparatus can include a memory that stores image information from the camera converted into an electrical signal as data. A transmission controlling part accesses the data stored in the memory and transmits to a radio public telecommunication network in response to a user signal requesting a video communication and displays the image information received as an image signal from the public telecommunication network. The personal data communications apparatus can further include a receiver receiving a voice, a viewfinder type display adapted to magnify the image information, a speaker for transmitting a voice and a system driving part for entering system operation control signals by the user. The camera is a compact design using a diffractive optic system to be mounted within a housing. The housing preferably encompasses the personal data communications apparatus with the speaker rotatably attached to an upper portion of the housing to protect the camera in a closed position and the receiver rotatably attached to a lower portion of the housing to protect the display in a closed position.
Abstract:
A plasma display panel includes a plurality of discharge cells formed with a plurality of partition walls arranged at fixed intervals between a front substrate and a rear substrate disposed in parallel spaced at a certain distance. A fluorescent material film is formed on a portion of an inside surface of each of the discharge cells. A discharge gas is sealed in each of the discharge cells and is converted into a plasma upon the occurrence of a discharge in each of the discharge cells. Each of the partition walls is formed with a stack of at least more than one permanent magnets magnetized with N and S poles for forming a magnetic field in the discharge cell. The electrons existing in the plasma are thus accelerated toward the fluorescent material film upon occurrence of a discharge in the discharge cell by the magnetic field such that the fluorescent material film can be excited, whereby a luminance of a panel screen can be improved, equal sized magnetic partition walls can be formed, and production time of the magnetic partition walls can be shortened.
Abstract:
An apparatus capable of performing an automatic tape ejection operation in an automobile-installed video cassette recorder comprises an input power detector for detecting an electrical disconnection between an automobile battery and the video cassette recorder when the automobile is turned off, a system controller, upon detecting the disconnection of the electrical power, for generating a switching control signal for a predetermined time period and a switch circuit, in response to the switching control signal, for electrically connecting the battery to a deck mechanism for the predetermined time period in which the tape ejection operation is executed.
