Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for keratin fibers, comprising: (a) at least one inorganic compound selected from silicic acids and salts thereof; (b) at least one organic compound selected from amino acids, derivatives thereof, and salts thereof; (c) at least one alkaline agent other than the (a) inorganic compound and the (b) organic compound; (d) at least one fatty material; and (e) water. Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for keratin fibers, comprising: (a) at least one biodegradable liquid fatty material; (b) at least one alkaline agent; (c) at least one thickener; and (d) water, wherein the amount of the (a) biodegradable liquid fatty material(s) is 10% by weight or more, preferably 30% by weight or more, and more preferably 50% by weight or more, relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition according to the present invention can be used for oxidative dyeing or bleaching of keratin fibers such as hair.
