Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for manufacturing a display module. An apparatus for manufacturing a display module according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, which attaches a polarizing plate, from which a release film is peeled, onto a display panel, includes: a separator configured to peel a release film from a polarizing plate, and formed with a flow path, through which foreign substances dropped from the release film when the release film is peeled are dischargeable; and a suction unit coupled to the separator to suck the foreign substances.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a peeling bar, apparatus, and method for peeling a polarizing film from a panel. This invention can minimize friction between the peeling bar and the polarizing film since the peeled polarizing film is in contact with a tip of a front part of the peeling bar. The radius of a curved surface at the tip of the front part and an inclined upper surface of the front part are designed to minimize the Z-axis component of a shearing force applied to the polarizing film. Also, in order to equalize tension applied to the polarizing film in a peeling process, this invention makes both ends of the polarizing film closely adhere to the peeling bar.According to this invention, fracture of the polarizing film is prevented, and thereby the polarizing film can be stably peeled from the panel without fracture.

Abstract: A system for continuously manufacturing an optical display device and methods thereof are described. The system and method include a feeding unit for feeding an optical film, which includes a release film and a plurality of sheet pieces of a polarized film. The system and method further include a peeling unit for peeling the sheet pieces of the polarized film; a winding unit for winding the release film form the sheet pieces of the polarized film; and a controlling unit. The controlling unit controls at least one of the feeding unit, the winding unit, and the laminating unit.
