Abstract: A display device and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed, in which a cathode electrode is not separated from an organic light emitting layer. The method for manufacturing a display device comprises the steps of forming pixels on a display area on a first substrate, forming an encapsulation film to cover the display area, attaching a protective film onto the encapsulation film, and removing the protective film. When attaching the protective film, the protective film includes a substrate layer and an adhesive layer formed at an edge area of at least one side of the substrate layer.

Abstract: An electroluminescent display device includes a substrate including an active area and a non-active area which encloses the active area, a planarization layer which is disposed on the substrate and extends from the active area to the non-active area, a bank over the planarization layer, an organic layer over the bank, a cathode over the organic layer, a trench pattern which is disposed in the non-active area and the cathode and the organic layer are removed and a step relieving layer which fills the trench pattern and is disposed to planarize an upper portion of the trench pattern to delay a moisture permeation speed from the side surface, thereby improving the reliability and reducing the bezel width at the same time.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are an anti-reflection polarizing film and a display device having the same. The anti-reflection polarizing film includes: a polarization layer configured to linearly polarize external light; a phase-difference layer configured to circularly polarize the light transmitted through the polarization layer; a first support layer between the polarization layer and the phase-difference layer, configured to protect the polarization layer; and a second support layer facing the first support layer with the polarization layer therebetween, configured to protect the polarization layer, wherein a part of a particular layer among the layers facing the second support layer is extended towards an edge.
