Abstract: The present invention relates to a display apparatus that allows a compensated data voltage to be supplied to each pixel by compensating for the data voltage so as to prevent burn-in from occurring in a display panel, a method for compensating a data signal thereof, and a method for generating a deep learning-based compensation model. To implement same, the present invention provides the display apparatus comprising a timing controller having mounted therein the compensation model generated by learning, in a deep learning method, the temperature, time, average brightness, and data voltage for each pixel. Accordingly, the present invention has an effect of preventing burn-in from occurring in each pixel by supplying each pixel with the compensated data voltage generated via the compensation model.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a self-emission display device and a self-emission display panel and include a fake subpixel disposed in a non-display area of the self-emission display panel and including a reference transistor controlled by a control signal and connected between a first voltage node and a detection node and a bias transistor controlled by a bias voltage and connected between a second voltage node and the detection node. Thus, it is possible to restore the initial characteristic value of the driving transistor in the subpixel disposed in the display area by driving the fake subpixel.

Abstract: A data driving circuit, controller, and display device include a compensation table for compensating for degradation of a light emitting subpixel. The compensation table may be generated or updated based on degradation of a dummy subpixel. The dummy subpixel is disposed in a non-active area, and has the same or similar characteristics to those of the light emitting subpixel as the display device is driven. Degree of degradation of the dummy subpixel may be sensed, and by degrading the dummy subpixel more rapidly than the light emitting subpixel, accuracy of sensing may be enhanced. The degradation compensation is performed in real time during driving of the display device, and is based on the compensation table generated or updated using the degree of degradation sensed on the dummy subpixel.

Abstract: A luminance compensation system of a display device and a luminance compensation method thereof are disclosed. The luminance compensation system includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a TFT and an OLED, a luminance meter configured to measure luminance at a plurality of positions and obtain a plurality of measure values for each of the plurality of positions in a state where modeling voltage patterns are applied to the plurality of positions, a first modeling unit configured to model the plurality of measure values to derive a first luminance characteristic approximate equation, and a second modeling unit configured to obtain a luminance error between the measure value and a luminance value in accordance with the first luminance characteristic approximate equation, after calculating an offset correction parameter, and apply the offset correction parameter to the first luminance characteristic approximate equation to derive a second luminance characteristic approximate equation.
