Abstract: An organic light emitting diode display and a method for sensing driving characteristics thereof are discussed. The organic light emitting diode display supplies a data voltage of an input image to pixels each including an organic light emitting diode in a driving mode and senses changes in driving characteristics of the pixels in a sensing mode. The organic light emitting diode display in one example includes a low potential power voltage adjustment unit configured to reduce a low potential power voltage of the pixels to a negative voltage in the sensing mode and adjust the low potential power voltage to a ground level voltage in the driving mode, and a sensing unit configured to sense an anode voltage of the organic light emitting diode using an analog-to-digital converter in the sensing mode.

Abstract: A display device comprises a display panel, a drive circuit configured to drive the display panel, a timing controller configured to control the drive circuit, and a power supply configured to output a supply voltage to the display panel. The timing controller is configured to output a vertical synchronization signal having an image display period and a blanking interval. The power supply is configured to vary a level of the supply voltage during the blanking interval of the vertical synchronization signal.

The organic light emitting display includes a display panel having subpixels; a data driving part for supplying a data signal to the display panel; a compensation circuit part for sensing the subpixels; a power generation part for generating and outputting power to be supplied to the display panel and the data driving part; a voltage line wired between an output terminal of the power generation part and the display panel, the voltage line to transmit a voltage output from the power generation part to the display panel; and a power control part for controlling the voltage line.
