Abstract: A display device is provided. A first electrode is disposed in an area defined by a gate line positioned on a first substrate in a first direction and a data line positioned on the first substrate in a second direction to intersect the gate line. A second electrode is disposed in the area and positioned on the substrate in a different layer from the first electrode. A touch signal line is positioned on the first substrate in a different layer from the data line to be positioned above the data line, the touch signal line being connected to the second electrode.
