    Abstract: An LCD device is disclosed which includes: at least one sensor module configured to sense an amount of external light; a liquid crystal display panel configured to display images; at least one light source module disposed under the liquid crystal display panel and configured to emit light; and at least one light guide plate configured to convert light from the at least one light source module into two-dimensional light and apply two-dimensional light to the liquid crystal display panel. The at least one light source module includes infrared LEDs and visible LEDs which are selectively driven according to a sensed light quantity sensed by the at least one sensor module and allow infrared light and visible light to be selectively emitted.
