Abstract: An OLED includes a plurality of emitting parts among which a first emitting part includes an electron transport layer and a second emitting part includes a hole transport layer spaced apart from a second emitting material layer. At least one of the hole transport layer and the electron transport layer may include a high refractive material, so that, an optical location of the OLED may be controlled. The OLED with driving at low power consumption, improved blue light luminous efficiency and white light luminance and a stable viewing angle may be implemented.

Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the OLED (e.g., a display device or a lighting device) are disclosed herein. An emissive layer disposed between two electrodes includes a charge control layer with controlled hole mobility and/or a HOMO energy level between a red emitting material layer and a blue emitting material layer. The blue luminous efficiency can be improved and exciton recombination zone is formed within an emitting material layer by injecting holes and electrons into the emitting material layer in balance. As the luminous efficiency of red and blue lights is controlled in balance, beneficial blue luminous efficiency and excellent red luminous efficiency can be realized.

Abstract: An organic light emitting diode (OLED) is described, where a red emitting material layer, a first blue emitting material layer and a second blue emitting material layer are disposed sequentially between two electrodes. A first blue host in the first blue emitting material layer has a hole mobility faster than a hole mobility of a second blue host in the second blue emitting material layer. Holes and electrons are injected into an emitting material layer in balance so that an exciton recombination zone is formed within the emitting material layer. Red and blue emission efficiencies are controlled in balance so that an OLED with beneficial blue emission efficiency and high red emission lifetime can be realized. An organic light emitting device includes the organic light emitting diode, and can be a display device or a lighting device.
