Abstract: A display panel can include sub-pixels arranged in a matrix configuration, in which each of at least one of the sub-pixels includes a light emitting device, a driving transistor to supply a driving current to the light emitting device, and a storage capacitor to maintain, for a certain period of time, a voltage for controlling a magnitude of the driving current. Also, the storage capacitor includes a bottom electrode, a buffer layer disposed on the bottom electrode, a middle electrode covering a portion of the buffer layer, a gate insulating layer covering the middle electrode and the buffer layer, and an upper electrode covering a portion of the gate insulating layer, and in the buffer layer, a thickness of a first area covered by the middle electrode is greater than a thickness of a second area that is in contact with the gate insulating layer.

Abstract: A display panel having an improved opening ratio and a manufacturing method of the display panel are discussed. In the display panel, a storage capacitor includes a bottom electrode, a buffer layer disposed on the bottom electrode, a middle electrode covering a portion of the buffer layer, a gate insulating layer covering the middle electrode and the buffer layer, and an upper electrode covering a portion of the gate insulating layer. In the buffer layer, a thickness of a first area covering the middle electrode is greater than a thickness of a second area that is in contact with the gate insulating layer.

Abstract: Provided is an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display device. The light-emitting element includes a first electrode, an emissive layer, and a second electrode that are sequentially stacked. The second electrode is in direct contact with the connection electrode within the contact hole.

Abstract: A display device having a bankless structure may comprises: a substrate on which pixels including an emission area and a non-emission area are disposed; a first conductive layer disposed on the substrate, and including a lower electrode of a storage capacitor; an active layer formed on the first conductive layer; a second conductive layer formed on the active layer, and including electrodes of at least one transistor, and an upper electrode of the storage capacitor which is formed in a single pattern with at least one of the electrodes of the at least one transistor; an overcoat layer covering the second conductive layer; and a light-emitting element may be disposed on the overcoat layer, and connected to the upper electrode of the storage capacitor through a via hole, wherein the via hole does not overlap the at least one transistor, when viewed from above.
