Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a display unit configured to display a plurality of icons; an input interface unit configured to receive a request from a remote control device to control the operation of the display device; and a control unit configured to control the display unit and the input interface unit, wherein the control unit configured to play a broadcast program, and if a favorites icon from among the plurality of icons is selected during playback of the broadcast program, display one or more of a favorites channel list and a favorites program list.
