Abstract: Disclosed are mobile terminals, home appliances, and methods of operating the same. The mobile terminal may include a controller configured to control display of a screen including an application related to the home appliance in response to an input to execute the application related to the home appliance. The controller may control setting of information, related to any one access point device among a plurality of access point devices stored in the mobile terminal, for connecting to an access point device with respect to the home appliance when product registration of the home appliance is not completed when a login item is selected on the application screen. The controller may also control to transmit a media access control (MAC) address of the access point device to the home appliance based on the set information and perform product registration for the home appliance.
