Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile terminal comprising: a main body; a display unit which is formed on one side of the main body and is for outputting text information; a touch detection unit which comprises a first touch sensor, for detecting a first touch input and formed on the one side of the main body, and a second touch sensor, for detecting a second touch input and formed on the other side facing the one side, so as to change the text information; and a control unit which is for setting a selected area among the text information, on the basis of the first and second touch inputs being detected by means of the touch detection units; and for activating an edit mode for editing the selected area.
