Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a home appliance control system and method using a user terminal and controlling the operation of the home appliances arranged in a space in consideration of the amount of power consumed in the space. In the present disclosure, if a first home appliance is to be operated, the first home appliance is operated only when the total power consumption of the first home appliance and other home appliances that are already operating is less than or equal to a reference value.
