    Abstract: A moving robot includes a traveler which moves a main body, an operator which performs a predetermined operation, a communication module which receives information, and a controller which performs a control to restrict at least one specific function based on information on a set time received from the communication module when a current set included in the set time. A control method of a moving robot includes a mode inputting step of receiving an input for information on a set time to set a predetermined disturbance prohibiting mode, and a disturbance prohibiting step of restricting at least one specific function when a current time belongs to in the set time.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a moving robot including: a travel unit configured to move a body; an image acquisition unit configured to acquire a surrounding image of the body; a sensor unit having one or more sensors configured to detect an obstacle while the body moves; a controller configured to: upon detection of an obstacle by the sensor unit, recognize an attribute of the obstacle based on an image acquired by the image acquisition unit, and control driving of the travel unit based on the attribute of the obstacle; and a sound output unit configured to: output preset sound when the recognized attribute of the obstacle indicates a movable obstacle. Accordingly, the moving robot improves stability, user convenience, driving efficiency, and cleaning efficiency.

    Abstract: An appliance control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a recognition device including a communication unit connected to a speech processing device or a control command input device to receive a control command for an appliance from the speech processing device or the control command input device, and a recognition module configured to recognize a setting environment for the appliance based on the received control command and generate control information for the appliance based on the recognized setting environment, and a control device configured to receive the control information from the recognition device, generate a control signal based on the received control information, and transmit the generated control signal to the appliance or a control command input device connected to the appliance.
