    Abstract: A magnetron includes a yoke, an upper magnet, an upper pole piece located at a lower side of the upper magnet, a fifth-harmonic-frequency choke located at an upper side of the upper pole piece, a third-harmonic-frequency at a lower side of the fifth-harmonic-frequency choke, a ceramic part located at an upper end of the fifth-harmonic-frequency choke and configured to output an electromagnetic wave including a plurality of frequencies, a fourth-harmonic-frequency choke that is bent inward from the ceramic part and that is welded to an upper end of the ceramic part, and a second-harmonic-frequency choke that is welded to the fourth-harmonic-frequency choke and that extends upward and downward along a heightwise direction. The third-harmonic-frequency choke, fifth-harmonic-frequency choke, and second-harmonic-frequency choke are configured to block harmonic frequencies of the electromagnetic wave.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are a structure for shielding electromagnetic waves, a door and a cooking appliance having the same. The structure for shielding electromagnetic waves includes a choke seal structure having a bottom face extended from a side wall portion formed at a periphery of a door in a plane direction defined by the door, an inner side face extended from the bottom face in a thickness direction of the door, and a top face extended from the inner side face toward side wall portion, the choke seal structure having a length extending along the periphery of the door, a plurality of slots arranged in a longitudinal direction of the choke seal structure at a predetermined spacing and partitioning the choke seal structure into a plurality of chokes, and a connecting face connecting between the top faces of some of the plurality of chokes, each of which has a latch hole formed in its inner side face.

    Abstract: A microwave heating system includes: a power supply; a first semiconductor module configured to receive power from the power supply and to generate a first microwave; a second semiconductor module configured to receive power from the power supply and to generate a second microwave; a heating chamber that is configured to accommodate an object at an inside of the heating chamber and that allows transmission of the first microwave and the second microwave to the inside of the heating chamber; and a control unit. The control unit is configured to control operation of each of the first semiconductor module and the second semiconductor module, and to control at least one of a frequency, a phase, or a magnitude of each of the first microwave and the second microwave to increase a heating uniformity of the object.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates a door and a cooking appliance with the same. The door includes a first choke part installed at the inner surface of the door panel, and disposed at a vertical outer side of the open window; a second choke part installed at the inner surface of the door panel and disposed at the lateral outer side of the open window, wherein the second choke part is disposed between the open window and the connection mechanism; and a cover frame installed at the inner surface of the door panel, configured to accommodate the connection mechanism inside the cover frame and form side walls at the vertical outer side of the first choke part and the lateral outer side of the second choke part.
