Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal capable of fingerprint recognition, and a control method thereof. A mobile terminal according to the present disclosure may include a terminal body, a display unit disposed on a front surface of the body, a sensing unit configured to receive a user's touch input to recognize the user's fingerprint, and a controller configured to display preset screen information on the display unit while the user's touch input is applied to the sensing unit based on the authentication of the recognized user's fingerprint.

Abstract: In a mobile terminal, in a case in which biometric information is input together The mobile terminal includes a touch screen configured to output screen information corresponding to a specific function, a sensor configured to sense biometric information of a user in a state in which the screen information is output, and a controller configured to control the touch screen to change the screen information on the basis of a touch applied to the touch screen, wherein when the biometric information is sensed by the sensor while the touch is applied, the controller may control the touch screen to output additional information related to the specific function on the basis of the biometric information, together with changing the screen information.
