Abstract: Disclosed is a clothes treating apparatus including a drum accommodating an object to be dried, a tub including the drum, a first drying duct communicating with an inner side of the drum at one side and an inner side of the tub at the other side, a circulation fan disposed in an end portion of the other side of the first drying duct to circulate air, a spray nozzle disposed between the circulation fan and the drum to spray cooling water to a space between the tub and the drum, a water collecting container disposed below the tub to collect cooling water, a circulation line supplying the cooling water to the spray nozzle, a drainage line discharging the cooling water to outside, and a flow-path conversion pump receiving the cooling water from the water collecting container and supplying the cooling water selectively to the circulation line or the drainage line.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a flow path selection part disposed in a pump disposed in a laundry treating apparatus. The flow path selection part includes a flow channel body including a drain flow passage having a drain inlet hole in communication with a first inlet and a drain outlet hole in communication with a first outlet defined therein, and a circulation flow passage having a circulation inlet hole in communication with a second inlet and a circulation outlet hole in communication with a second outlet defined therein, and a diaphragm accommodated inside the flow channel body to divide the drain flow passage and the circulation flow passage from each other, wherein the diaphragm closes the drain flow passage or closes the circulation flow passage based on a rotation direction of an impeller, and a direction from the drain inlet hole to the drain outlet hole is inclined with an extension direction of the first discharge pipe, and a direction from the circulation inlet hole to the circulation outlet hole is inclined with an extension direction of the second discharge pipe. Thus, a size of the pump itself may be minimized. In addition, during installation, contact with other components is prevented, so that damage to the pump and other components may be prevented as much as possible.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a clothing treatment apparatus comprising: a heat pump having an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser, and an expansion valve, and applying heat to air circulating in a drum; an air flow path forming a movement path such that the air is circulated through the drum; a lint filter provided on the air flow path and collecting lint contained in the air; and a condensate water collecting part collecting condensate water generated in the evaporator and supplying the condensate water to the lint filter, wherein the condensate water supplied from the condensate water collecting part is supplied to the upper portion of the lint filter, and the lint collected in the lint filter is moved to the lower portion of the lint filter, thereby securing the air flow path of the lint filter.
