摘要: A multistage pump includes a pump casing, a shaft, a first impeller, a second impeller, and a pipe. The shaft is rotatably disposed within the pump casing and has a longitudinal axis. The first impeller is disposed within the casing at a first position along the shaft. The second impeller is disposed within the casing at a second position and along the shaft. The pipe is detachably attached to the pump casing, and has an inlet and an outlet, the inlet disposed at the discharge of the first impeller and the outlet disposed at an eye of the second impeller, such that discharge from the first impeller can be conveyed to the eye of the second impeller.

摘要: An energy-conserving fluid pump is an apparatus used to transport low viscosity fluids like water and fuel without experiencing cavitation, recirculation, nor motor locking while also conserving energy. The apparatus includes a fluid diffuser, a fluid densifier, a convergent housing, and a strut assembly. The fluid diffuser improves the efficiency of the apparatus by expanding the fluid inflow and maintaining a fluid pressure buildup. The fluid densifier shears the incoming fluid flow from the fluid diffuser and increases the fluid outflow pressure. The convergent housing encloses the fluid diffuser and the fluid densifier while facilitating the outflow of the pressurized fluid without the loss of fluid pressure nor cavitation. In addition, the convergent housing facilitates the transfer of torque to the fluid diffuser for the operation of the apparatus. The strut assembly keeps the fluid densifier stationary while enabling the rotation of the convergent housing and/or the fluid diffuser.

摘要: A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first unit is activated by the drive motor, a magnetic flux is created which in turn rotates the magnetic assembly in the second unit, driving the blade.

摘要: A split volute for a centrifugal pump is disclosed that provides a manufacturing advantage by improving the yield of high-chrome iron casting, providing for full surface coating capability using line-of-sight spray coating systems. Performance improvements include improved pump efficiency, abrasion resistance, and volute lifetime. Additional operational cost savings are enabled through reduced time required for common volute maintenance procedures and an increased replacement interval for the volute. Taken together, these advantages reduce the total cost of ownership of the split volute pump system.

摘要: A submersible well pump has a rotatable drive shaft extending through pump stages. Each of the stages has a diffuser, an impeller and a bushing fixed for non-rotation in the diffuser. A thrust member has a lower side in sliding rotating engagement with the upward facing surface of the bushing. The bushing and the thrust member are of a harder material than the diffuser and the impeller. A drive member of a softer material than the thrust member is in engagement with the thrust member and has a drive member bore through which the shaft extends. A key extends through the shaft groove, the impeller groove and the drive member groove to cause the impeller and thrust member to rotate with the shaft.

摘要: A hydrodynamic machine contains a bladed primary wheel driven by a rotary shaft and a bladed secondary wheel, which together form a work chamber filled with a working medium. The machine has a pressure pump for delivering a working medium from the work chamber. The pressure pump has a first inlet, which projects into the work chamber, and has a first inlet opening which is aligned with the rotary shaft in the circumferential direction. The pressure pump has a second inlet which projects into the work chamber and has a second inlet opening which is aligned to the rotary shaft in the circumferential direction opposite to the first inlet opening. The first and second inlets are joined to a common working medium channel behind the two inlet openings. The first and second inlets extend adjacent to each other in the same flow direction separated by a separation wall.
