    摘要： A switching arrangement comprising a block of insulating material provided with a first hole and a second hole intersecting the first hole, a third hole meeting the first and second holes at their intersection, liquid conducting medium contained in said first and second holes, a piston of insulating material which is slidably movable in the third hole, said piston being provided with a notch portion whereby, when the piston is positioned so that the notch portion overlaps the said first and second holes at their intersection, an electrically conducting connection exists between the medium in the first and second holes via the medium located in the notch portion, and, when the piston is positioned so that the notch portion does not overlap said first and second holes at their intersection, no electrically conducting connection exists between the medium in the first and second holes by virtue of the presence in the intersection of the plunger of insulating material.

    摘要： Crosspoint matrix for an electrical switch for selection by coordinates comprising a first set of conductive parallel bars located in a common plane and each carrying resilient forks and a second set of conductive parallel bars adapted to establish contact with said forks, this second set of bars being located in a plane spaced from the said common plane and parallel thereto. The bars of the second set have one conductive and one insulating surface against which the forks bear in make and idle positions respectively, with notches through the bars of the second set to allow the forks to pass through. The bars of the second set also have unnotched insulating bars intercalated between them to define with them receiving spaces comprised alternatively of two insulating surfaces and one insulating and one conducting surface.

    摘要： A direct-current voltage converter for converting an unstable voltage into a stable voltage at a floating potential with respect to ground. It comprises means for periodically chopping a current delivered by the source of said unstable voltage, a transformer fed from the chopped current, a rectifier connected to the output circuit of the transformer and delivering a rectified voltage, a circuit including a Zener diode and supplying a reference voltage, means for comparing said reference voltage with said rectifier voltage and delivering an error signal, and means for time modulating said chopped current by said error signal.
