Abstract: The subject of the present invention is a method for characterizing the distribution of the volumes of the surface of the skin of an individual, more particularly applicable in the evaluation of the effect of firming cosmetic products. This method uses the isolines and the gradients of the slopes computed from a three-dimensional representation of the surface of the skin.
