摘要： A seal section for a submersible well pump assembly has a housing for connection between a pump and a motor. A central radial bearing support rotatably supports a drive shaft and defines upper and lower chambers in the housing. A well fluid passageway leads from an exterior portion of the housing to the upper chamber. Upper and lower isolation tubes extend around the shaft within the upper and lower chambers, defining an annular passage for fluid communication with lubricant contained in the motor. A bladder surrounds the upper isolation tube for separating lubricant from well fluid in the upper chamber. A labyrinth tube within the bladder has an upper end in fluid communication with a labyrinth port leading through the upper isolation tube and a lower end in fluid communication with the lower chamber.

摘要： A motor assembly has electrical connectors between them that are shielded from any metallic debris generated in the motors. The motor assembly includes upper and lower motors, each having an adapter coupled together. Each adapter has a wire passage for each phase of the motor. Wires from the motors join electrical connectors, the electrical connectors being mounted to insulators in the adapter passages. A debris seal locates above the upper electrical connector in each upper adapter passage. Another debris seal locates between the overlapping portions of the two insulators of each adapter passage.

摘要： A connector for connecting electrical power to a well pump motor has cable and motor connector portions that mate with each other in a connected position. The connector portions have insulating members, each of which has a number of passages and an end face. Electrical contact members are mounted in each of the passages. The ones in the cable connector portion protrude past the end face of the insulating member. An end face seal surrounds each of the protruding contact members and is deformed by engagement of the end face of the motor insulating member when the cable and motor connector portions are in the connected position.

摘要： A submersible electric pump motor comprises an unvarnished stator structure having stator windings formed of conductors. The stator windings form end coils at each end of the stator for each phase. The end coils are tied to three arc-shaped, metal segments, each having an opening and positioned circumferentially within a circumferential groove. The metal segments are welded to the interior of the housing to provide a rigid surface. High temperature strings are wound through the openings in each metal segment and around the end coils for each phase to tie each end coil of that phase to that metal segment. This prevents the end coils of each phase from twisting during startup, sliding into the slots, and moving inwards towards a rotating rotor.

摘要： An electrical submersible pump assembly has a motor module coupled to a centrifugal pump module by a seal section module. A shaft assembly extends through each of the modules for causing the motor module to rotate the pump module. At least one of the modules has a sleeve extending around the shaft that is of a harder material than the shaft. A torque transmitting ring is deformed between an inner diameter of the sleeve and an exterior portion of the shaft. The inner diameter of the sleeve is a continuous cylindrical surface free of any torque transmitting shoulders. Friction created by the torque transmitting ring transmits the entire rotational force from the shaft to the sleeve.

摘要： A submersible electric pump motor comprises an unvarnished stator structure having stator windings formed of conductors.
