摘要： A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first unit is activated by the drive motor, a magnetic flux is created which in turn rotates the magnetic assembly in the second unit, driving the blade.

The rotor unit includes a magnet, a sleeve bearing, and a resin portion formed from a thermoplastic resin that is used for integrally molding the magnet and the sleeve bearing and that constitutes the impeller attachment unit. The magnet includes a plurality of through holes that each extend in the axial direction; and each of the through holes is embedded in the thermoplastic resin that constitutes a part of the resin portion.

摘要： A structure improvement of a pump casing with a Polyfluoroalkoxy (PFA) liner which improves manufacturing efficiency, reduces manufacturing cost and improves yield strength, more particular to keep the stiffness of the shaft support and improve yield of the pump casing. The metal pump casing with the PFA liner used for handling corrosive liquids includes a suction casing with PFA liner, and a volute casing with PFA liner for accommodating an impeller. The volute casing also collects and then ejects the liquid through a discharge. The suction casing with the PFA liner and the volute casing with the PFA liner are separately formed as two workpieces by injection molding process and then assembled to form the pump casing so as to reduce the residual stress applied in the PFA liner.

摘要： Various “contactless” bearing mechanisms including hydrodynamic and magnetic bearings are provided for a rotary pump as alternatives to mechanical contact bearings. In one embodiment, a pump apparatus includes a pump housing defining a pumping chamber. The housing has a spindle extending into the pumping chamber. A spindle magnet assembly includes first and second magnets disposed within the spindle. The first and second magnets are arranged proximate each other with their respective magnetic vectors opposing each other. The lack of mechanical contact bearings enables longer life pump operation and less damage to working fluids such as blood.
