摘要： Apparatus and method for cooking snack food pieces features a drum-type fryer which transports individual, die-cut piece preforms through hot oil contained within a cooking tank defined between the periphery of the drum and a housing in which the drum is contained. Vacuum transfer and feed rollers transfer the individual piece preforms from a die-cutting roller assembly onto the drum for cooking, and a similar roller transfers the cooked snack food pieces from the drum to a take-away conveyor for subsequent, downstream processing. The pieces are retained by suction against molding surfaces of frying mold elements distributed over the periphery of the frying drum.

摘要： A method of manufacturing a sport ball includes providing a fluid impervious bladder, providing apparatus for penetrating the bladder and including apparatus for receiving an object in sealing engagement, providing a plug dimensioned and configured to engage in sealing relationship the apparatus for receiving in sealing engagement, inserting the plug into the apparatus for receiving, inflating the bladder, and forming additional layers of material on the bladder that is part of a complete sport ball. Thereafter, the method includes providing a self-contained inflation mechanism dimensioned and configured to be disposed within the envelope of the sport ball and dimensioned and configured to engage the apparatus for receiving, removing the plug from the apparatus for receiving, and placing the inflation mechanism into the apparatus for receiving. In some forms of the invention the step of forming additional layers includes adding reinforcing windings, molding a layer of rubber on the windings, and laminating composite panels onto the ball and setting the panels in a molding process.

In at least some embodiments, a gas permeable membrane material is used in the construction of the gas removal devices. The gas removal devices may be used in any of a broad variety of liquid delivery systems and/or configurations.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method for dispensing of a microbiologically sensitive fluid, in particular low acid food fluid, in a hygienic manner so as to avoid micro-organism growth in the line dispensing the fluid as well as in any mechanical components of a dispensing unit that may enter into contact with the fluid. The invention hygienically supplies microbiologically sensitive fluid from a removable container that has a terminal connecting portion to a dispensing unit. The unit includes a coupling mechanism adapted to connect the terminal connecting portion and a component for delivering a cleaning or rinsing fluid within the terminal connecting portion. Thus, during cleaning or rinsing, the cleaning or rinsing fluid can be discharged within the terminal connecting portion up to a closing point of the container assembly, thus demarcating a closing point, downstream of which is a part that is maintained clean, and upstream of which is a part of the container that is maintained sterile.
