Provided is a ready-to-use composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibers, and for example of human keratin fibers such as the hair, comprising: A) at least one fatty substance present in an amount of greater than or equal to 25% by weight relative to the total weight of the ready-to-use composition, at least one of the at least one fatty substance being chosen from fatty amides and fatty acid esters, B) at least one dye precursor, C) at least one oxidizing agent and optionally D) at least one alkaline agent. Also provided is a method of dyeing of keratin fibres, comprising applying a ready-to-use composition to the keratin fibres for a sufficient time to develop the desired coloration.

One subject of the present invention is a compositing for dyeing or lightening human keratin fibres, comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: (a) at least 25% by weight of a mixture of fatty substances comprising at least one fatty alcohol that is solid at ambient temperature; the mixture of fatty substances comprising at least one additional fatty substance chosen from C6-C16 lower alkanes, non-silicone oils of animal, mineral or synthetic origin, fatty alcohols other than fatty alcohols that are solid at ambient temperature, esters of a fatty acid and/or of a fatty alcohol, non-silicone waxes, silicones, or mixtures thereof; (b) at least one oxidizing agent; and (c) optionally one or more basifying agents. It furthermore relates to a dyeing or lightening process using the same.Another subject of the invention is constituted by two-compartment or three-compartment devices that make it possible, after mixing the compositions of the compartments just before application, to obtain a composition according to the invention.
