摘要: A system and method for the automated dispensing of bulk keg wine is provide having, in combination: integrated temperature control; pressure monitoring; automated purging; and integrated point of sale data acquisition for determining inventory usage statistics for each keg of wine dispensed. The system provides for precise measurement of each portion. Control algorithms for adapting system operation provide anticipated travel time and distances, and anticipated dispensed volumes and volumetric flow rates to allow for precise control of selected pour volumes. A relationship is calibrated among applied pressure, piston delay time, and dispensed per push volume to achieve higher control accuracy between a maximum and minimum system pressure ranges.

摘要: A system and method detection of an empty keg is provided. Carbonated beverages from a keg communicates a carbonated alcoholic beverage to a liquid beverage sensor in fluid communication with the bulk keg. The liquid beverage sensor includes at least one phase detection sensor capable of identifying a foam or gas-liquid interface (Float on Beer Detector), at least one pressure sensor, at least one flow sensor, or at least one temperature sensor. A controller in operative communication with the TCB communicates with the control valve, the actuation button and in communication with the sensors. Upon detection of a low float level for the FOB detector, or low system pressure, or high system temperature, an alarm and/or override of the control of the tap is accomplished.

摘要: A beverage dispensing cart is provided for the portable and independent controlled dispensing of keg beverages. Delivery of beer and/or wine on tap is provided from a portable, battery powered beverage service and dispensing cart. One or more bulk beverage keg containers are stored within temperature-controlled compartments, each dispensed from a separate tap tower. Each tap tower comprises at least one individually operable touchless tap for and in operational communication with an automated Beverage Dispensing System for an automated and controlled dispensing of a metered volume of beverage from the bulk beverage keg. A plurality of casters are attached to a lower surface of the cabinet in a manner to allow the portable beverage service and dispensing cart to be portably transported. Use of the portable beverage service and dispensing cart enable the use of keg beverages in a venue in a portable manner.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention relate to a container with one or more secondary objects housed in the container and configured with indicia to communicate a message. One or more secondary objects in communication with a weight are housed in the container. A combination of the weight and buoyancy characteristics of the secondary object(s) supports floating of the secondary object in the fluid.

摘要: A scalable, programmable software based application run on a programmed general-purpose digital computer is used for interconnecting a plurality of heterogeneous network nodes. The application has the ability to convert between any two signaling protocols used, such as those used over a telecommunications network, by converting an originating protocol to a universal non-protocol specific representation, and then converting the universal non-protocol specific representation to a receiving protocol. A call context is used to store information elements created from the originating protocol so that a universal call model applies inter-working rules. The universal call model is also in communication with state machines associated with both the originating and the terminating sides in order to supply the appropriate response signals anticipated by the originating and terminating sides received when each is in communication with its own protocol. As such, the universal call model allows both the originating and terminating sides of a call to operate independently of each other by virtue of the fact that each side deal through the universal call model and not directly with the side for which the protocol message is being converted. Therefore, any protocol is easily converted to any other protocol by first translating the protocol message to the universal protocol non-specific format.

摘要: A thermal flow sensor is provide for beverage metering using a heater in physical and thermal communication the beverage dispensing conduit. A temperature sensing element is positioned distant from and downstream from said heater along said direction of fluid flow. A computing device controls the heater and the temperature sensing element and computes a cumulative total volume during a metering cycle. The computing of a cumulative total volume during a metering cycle may be adapted or approximated to account for residual changes in temperature of the conduit or thermal sensing element metering cycles. Flow measurement is thereby without direct physical contact with the beverage itself, thereby providing cleanable fluid paths within the beverage conduit that limits or eliminate voids or trapped volumes. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.
