摘要: The present disclosure relates to a crude oil flow metering device, which includes a measuring part and a metering part; the measuring part includes a measuring tube and a float assembly; the float assembly is in-built in the measuring tube, and includes a float and a float connection rod integrally connected with the float; an end of the float connection rod is connected to a detection part; the detection part protrudes out of the measuring tube when the float rises from a bottom end; the metering part includes a position detection module and a processing module; the position detection module is arranged in a detection cavity located above the measuring tube and formed by a first housing; when the detection part at the end of the float connection rod extends into the detection cavity, the position detection module detects a position of the detection part at the end of the float connection rod to obtain a float height detection signal; and the processing module calculates a flow rate of measured crude oil according to the float height detection signal. The present disclosure can safely meter the crude oil flow of a crude oil transport pipeline and meet the accuracy of metering crude oil.

摘要: The disclosure herein concerns a method including receiving at a computer at least one target value of a scent parameter for an environment that is remote from the computer, receiving at the computer a sensed parameter of the environment, and controlling, via the computer, diffusion of a liquid from a source of the liquid in fluid communication with at least one scent diffusion device to achieve the target value of the scent parameter, wherein controlling includes setting or adjusting an operation parameter of the at least one scent diffusion device in response to the sensed parameter.

摘要: Methods and systems for measuring a level of a fluid. A first output is obtained from first sensing elements at a first electrical circuit, the first sensing elements configured to produce the first output based on a position of a floater movable along a floater path. The position of the floater is determined at the first electrical circuit based on the first output. A second output is obtained from second sensing elements at a second electrical circuit, the second electrical circuit being isolated from the first electrical circuit, at least one of the first sensing elements being interleaved with at least one of the second sensing elements, the second sensing elements configured to produce the second output based on the position of the floater. The position of the floater is determined at the second electrical circuit based on the second output.

摘要: A flood warning system for providing persons with an advance warning of a flooded area has a gauge unit positioned in a waterway, a control unit configured to receive signals transmitted by the gauge unit in order to determine whether a condition of the waterway is safe, and a warning light unit positioned remotely from the gauge unit in a path adjacent to a roadway ahead of the waterway. The gauge unit has one or more sensors in a housing that measure a water level is water enters or exits the housing and a signal transmitter cooperative with the gauge unit that transmits a signal in response to a pre-defined water level being reached. The warning light includes a light illuminated in response to the gauge unit measuring a current water level is flooding the roadway.

摘要: A laser rod surface elevation table (L-RSET) includes a sensor arm coupled to a stepper motor and a screw frame. A screw interconnects the motor and frame, while a screw carriage interconnects the screw and a sensor carriage. A laser sensor is mounted to the sensor carriage. A controller includes at least one processor operatively coupled to the sensor and motor. The processor processes measurement values in a data structure and performs functions to actuate the motor and sensor. The data structure represents a quasi-unique topographical measurement project, and is configured with the measurement values, including a radius value R which defines an area, a start point value X and a stop point value Y for positioning the screw carriage, a speed value S for speed of advancement of the screw carriage, an interval value I for measurement interval, and a points value N for points of measurement per measurement interval.

摘要: A filling level indicator includes a retainer, a bow rotatably supported on the retainer and having a lever arm fastened thereto, a float fastened to the lever arm, and a filling level sensor arranged in the retainer. The filling level sensor has a substrate, a resistance network arranged thereon, a contact spring structure, and a cover, connected to the substrate, that covers the resistance network and the contact spring structure. A magnet is connected to the bow or the lever arm and acts on the contact spring structure such that an electrical signal corresponding to the filling level is generated according to the pivoting range. The mount has a wall thickness that can be penetrated by the magnetic field of the magnet, and so metal particles are held on the outside of the mount by the magnetic field of the magnet.

摘要: A monitoring system for an access chamber to a pipe network. The system comprises at least one sensor for determining a fluid condition associated with fluid in a conduit of the pipe network and at least one threshold level indicator for determining a threshold fluid level in the access chamber, the at least one threshold level indicator being associated with the at least one sensor. The system further comprises a controller for receiving output signals from the at least one sensor and the at least one threshold level indicator and for controlling supply of power to the at least one sensor and a wireless transceiver in communication with the controller to allow the controller to communicate with a remote server over a communications network. The controller is arranged to supply power to the at least one sensor in response to receiving an output signal from the at least one threshold level indicator indicative of the fluid level having exceeded the threshold fluid level.

摘要: A method for a fuel system comprises receiving a first indication of inconsistency in a fuel level indicator output during a fuel consumption cycle, receiving a second indication of inconsistency in a fuel level indicator output during a refueling event, and indicating electrical degradation of the fuel level indicator responsive to the first and second indications of inconsistency indicating coincident ranges of inconsistency for the fuel level indicator output. By gauging the consistency of a fuel level indicator output during both upward and downward travel, electrical degradation may be distinguished from mechanical degradation. In this way, a range of inconsistency may be determined, and a reported fuel level adjusted while the fuel level indicator output is within the range of inconsistency.
