    摘要: A display is disclosed. The display comprises a panel, a data driver and a scan driver. The panel comprises pixels, data lines and scan lines. The data lines transmit data signals to the pixels, and the scan lines transmit scan signals to the pixels. The data driver provides the data signals, and the scan driver provides the scan signals. The scan driver comprises a shift register circuit. The shift register circuit comprises an i+1th stage carry shift register, an ith stage carry shift register and a jth stage buffer shift register. The ith stage carry shift register generates an i+1th start signal to start the i+1th stage carry shift register, so that the i+1th stage carry shift register generates an i+2th start signal. The i+1th start signal starts the jth stage buffer shift register to generate a jth output signal.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display including a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines and a pixel array is provided. Each data line has a plurality of first vertical portions, a plurality of second vertical portions and a plurality of horizontal portions. The first vertical portions and the second vertical portions are perpendicular to the scan lines. The horizontal portions are parallel to the scan lines. The first vertical portion and the second vertical portion are alternately arranged. Each first vertical portion is connected to its neighboring second vertical portion by a horizontal portion. The pixel array includes a plurality of pixel units. The length of each horizontal portion is equal to the width of at least one pixel unit. The signals with opposite polarities are received by the pixel units on two sides of each horizontal portion.

    摘要: The disclosed are methods for driving a vertically aligned (VA) LCD. The VALCD has an array substrate, an opposite substrate, and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween. The array substrate includes a common line, the opposite substrate includes a common electrode layer, and the liquid crystal layer has a threshold voltage. The common line is applied a higher positive voltage and the common electrode layer is applied a lower positive voltage, such that negative impurities are adsorbed on the common line. As such, image sticking problems are reduced.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) device may include a scan line that is parallel and adjacent to a compensation signal line. A compensation signal transmitted on the compensation signal line may be the inverse of a scan signal transmitted on a scan line. Consequently, feed-through voltage may be reduced and gray levels may be more properly displayed in pixels.
