摘要: A stow mechanism for head up display includes a bracket for attachment to an environment associated with the head up display. The stow mechanism can also include a combiner arm rotatably attached to the bracket. The combiner arm rotates in at last two degrees of freedom as the combiner arm is rotated with respect to the bracket from an operational position to a stow position.

摘要: An improved stop attachment removably connectable to a hinge assembly for adjustably limiting the degree of angular movement of a hinge assembly, the stop attachment including a housing assembly and a stop sleeve. The stop sleeve is movable with respect to the housing assembly for selectively positioning a first and a second stop surface formed on the stop sleeve with respect to a first and a second stop surface, respectively, formed on the housing assembly. In each selectively adjusted position of the stop sleeve and the housing assembly, at least one of the first stop surfaces of the stop sleeve and the housing assembly engages a first hinge leaf of the hinge assembly and at least one of the second stop surfaces of the stop sleeve and the housing assembly engages a second hinge leaf of the hinge assembly thereby selectively and adjustingly limiting the degree of angular movement of the first and the second hinge leaves.

摘要: The Self-Sustaining Electric Engine Enhancement (SSEEE) specification modifies the process by which electric car engines consume and replenish electric power and dramatically extends the distance a car can travel before the need for pit stops to recharge the energy source, i.e., batteries, fuel cells, etc. It introduces a hot swappable configuration of battery/fuel cells to allow for quick exchange for a charged fuel source. It changes the process by which batteries or any fuel source is utilized. It introduces an intelligent device that controls access to batteries for both consumption and replenishment. It adds a charging device to the electric vehicle for a self-sustained power source. It eliminates the need in hybrid engines to have the entire engine be fueled by gas or biofuel—only the Charger(s) will be powered by gas/biofuel. Finally, it adds high availability and scalability enhancements to the existing electric car power processes to allow for continuous operations of the vehicle in the case of some component failures. It's a marriage of Information Technology and Electric Car paradigms.
