摘要: A triaxial connector assembly including a media converter that is used to terminate a fiber optic/electrical hybrid cable is disclosed. The triaxial connector assembly includes a connector with a housing defining a first end and a second end, the first end of the housing defining a triaxial interface adapted to mate with a triaxial connector, the second end of the housing defining a cable termination end. The connector also includes the media converter positioned within the housing, the media converter configured to convert fiber signals and electrical signals carried by a hybrid fiber optic/electrical cable to a coaxial signal carried forward by the triaxial interface. A camera system using the connector and a method of terminating a hybrid cable to a triaxial connector are also disclosed.

摘要: A radio frequency signal distribution module and panel for receiving such a module are disclosed. One module includes a housing having a front and a rear, a radio frequency signal input connection positioned on the rear of the housing, and a plurality of radio frequency signal output connections positioned on the rear of the housing. The module also includes a splitter within the housing and connecting the radio frequency signal input connection to the plurality of radio frequency signal output connections. Certain modules include an active attenuation component connected to and providing programmable attenuation of a radio frequency signal output connection from among the plurality of radio frequency signal output connections. Other modules include a data port on the housing, the data port configured to communicate information about radio frequency signals within the module to a computing system remote from the module.

摘要: A hybrid fiber/copper connector assembly which permits repair of damaged fibers or copper conductors carried by a hybrid fiber/copper cable without requiring replacement of the entire connector assembly or the cable is disclosed. The hybrid fiber/copper connector assembly disclosed also allows individual hybrid fiber/copper connectors of the assembly to be converted from one gender to a different gender. The hybrid fiber/copper connector assembly disclosed also allows the individual hybrid fiber/copper connectors of the assembly to be converted from being hybrid fiber/copper connectors to being only fiber connectors or only copper connectors.

摘要: The present invention relates to a center conductor insulator with a tapered entry for use with a coaxial cable transmission line connector that provides guiding and centering of a center conductor pin within the connector. The present invention further relates to a front sleeve assembly for use with a coaxial cable transmission line connector which incorporates a center conductor insulator with a tapered entry to guide and center a center conductor pin within the connector. The present invention also relates to a compression ring assembly for mounting a connector to a cable, the assembly having a collet engaging a tapered rear seal to compress the collet about the cable. The present invention further relates to a method of mounting a connector to a cable with a compression ring assembly incorporating a collet and tapered rear seal. The present invention also relates to conversion kit including a front sleeve assembly and an outer body for a coaxial cable transmission line connector which permits the connector to be changed from a connector of first style or gender to a connector of a second style or gender. The present invention further relates to a mounting kit which allows mounting of different genders and styles of telecommunications connectors to a panel.
