Abstract: In a driving tool, during and/or after a driving operation has been completed, a restriction member is retained in an on-position by a cam. An energizing switch is retained in an on-state by an actuation portion of the restriction member. Because of this configuration, if a trigger is released during and/or after the driving operation has been completed, an electric motor continues to be activated, which causes a driver to return to a standby position.

Abstract: A driving tool includes a flywheel, a driver held to be movable between an initial position and a driving position along an movement axis, a ring member configured to transmit rotational energy of the flywheel to the driver, and a driver moving mechanism configured to move the driver with respect to the ring member from the initial position to a transmitting position. When the driver is placed in the initial position, the ring member is disposed loosely around the outer periphery of the flywheel. When the driver is moved to the transmitting position by the driver moving mechanism, the ring member is frictionally engaged with the driver and with the flywheel, rotated by the flywheel, and transmits the rotational energy to the driver, thereby pushing the driver from the transmitting position toward the driving position.

Abstract: A gas-spring type driving tool with a charge valve, a relief valve, and an opening valve provided in an accumulation chamber. Compressed gas can be quickly charged into the accumulation chamber by connecting the charge valve to an external device. The relief valve maintains the accumulation chamber at a preset pressure. The opening valve is capable of opening the accumulation chamber quickly to the atmosphere. This allows for a quick removal of a jammed nail from a driving nose.

Abstract: A driving tool includes a tool body, a flywheel, a driver and a pressing mechanism. The pressing mechanism is disposed on a side opposite to the flywheel across the driver in a facing direction in which the flywheel and the driver face each other. The pressing mechanism includes a spring mechanism and a pressing roller. The spring mechanism includes a first spring part and a second spring part and is configured to be displaced along with forward movement of the driver. The pressing roller is configured to press the driver toward the flywheel in the facing direction by a biasing force of the spring mechanism in a process of the forward movement of the driver, to thereby enable transmission of the rotational energy to the driver. A spring constant of the whole spring mechanism varies according to an amount of displacement of the whole spring mechanism.

Abstract: A nailing machine includes a tool body, a flywheel (40), a driver (3), a pressing mechanism and a return mechanism. The pressing mechanism includes a spring mechanism and a pressing roller (87). The pressing roller (87) is supported to be rotatable around a rotation axis (A2) and movable in a left-right direction, and configured to press the driver (3) toward the flywheel (40) by a biasing force of the spring mechanism in a nail-driving process in which the driver (3) moves from an initial position to a nail-driving position, to thereby enable transmission of the rotational energy to the driver (3). The pressing mechanism is configured such that the position of the pressing roller (87) relative to the driver (3) changes in the left-right direction between the nail-driving process and a return process, thereby making it impossible for the pressing roller (87) to press the driver (3) in the return process.

Abstract: A driving tool includes a driver, a first moving mechanism and a second moving mechanism. The elastic member is configured to return the driver to the initial position by the elastic force generated when the torsional moment acts on the elastic member in interlock with a movement of the driver to the driving position.

The solenoid has an actuation part configured to linearly move in a specified direction from an initial position when the solenoid is activated. The pressing mechanism includes a holder turnably supported around a rotation axis relative to the tool body, and a roller rotatably supported by the holder. The holder is turnable between a first position in which the roller is apart from the driver and a second position in which the roller abuts on the driver and presses the driver toward the flywheel to thereby enable transmission of the rotational energy to the driver. The actuation part is configured to turn the holder from the first position to the second position while moving from the initial position.
