Abstract: The present disclosure includes a connector assembly that is a part of a sensor assembly for collecting patient physiological data. The connector assembly can include a first connector tab with catches, a second connector tab with openings, a retainer with pins, and a circuit board coupled to a cable. Each of the pins of the retainer can include a detent that can engage one of the catches of the first connector tab. The pins can extend through the openings of the second connector tab so that the retainer is coupled to the first connector tab by the detents engaging the catches. The first and second connector tabs can thereby be coupled together to support the circuit board and the cable between the first and second connector tabs.

Abstract: A wearable health monitoring device can include a physiological parameter measurement sensor or module configured to be in contact with a wearer's skin when the device is worn by the wearer on the wrist. The physiological parameter measurement sensor can noninvasively and optionally continuously measure one or more physiological parameters, for example, the oxygen saturation, of the wearer. The sensor can include a convex curvature to improve pressure, and therefore optical coupling, between the wearer's skin and the physiological parameter measurement sensor while balancing the pressure and the wearer's comfort. The sensor can include a light barrier between emitters and detectors and other light barriers to improve signal strength and reduce noise.

Abstract: A strap for a wearable device configured to secure to a portion of a body of a user can include a base and a plurality of strap members secured to portions of the base. In some implementations, the base is made of a first material and each of the plurality of strap members are made of a second material, the first material being more pliable than the second material. In some implementations, the base includes a plurality of openings spaced from one another along a length of the base and a plurality of stems. In some implementations, each of the plurality of strap members is a channel secured to one of the stems. In some implementations, the first material includes at least one of rubber and silicone and the second material is a metallic material.

Abstract: A wearable device configured to measure physiological parameters of a subject is described. The wearable device can include a dock having a plurality of prongs, a dock circuit layer having a plurality of conductive strips positioned along the plurality of prongs, and a plurality of electrodes in electrical communication with the dock circuit layer. The wearable device can also include a hub configured to be removably secured to the dock, the hub having a housing with a plurality of openings, and a hub circuit layer arranged within the interior of the housing. When the hub and dock are secured to one another, the plurality of prongs of the frame extend towards the plurality of openings of the housing of the hub and cause the plurality of conductive strips to contact portions of the hub circuit layer to facilitate electrical communication between the plurality of electrodes and the hub circuit layer.

Abstract: An optical physiological sensor can be integrated into a wearable device and can comprise a substrate having an optical center, a first emitter group of light emitting diodes (LEDs) positioned adjacent to the optical center of the substrate and spaced at an offset from the optical center, a second emitter group of LEDs positioned adjacent to the optical center of the substrate at an offset to the optical center and spaced at an offset from the optical center opposite the first emitter group of LEDs relative to the optical center, and a plurality of detectors arranged in a spatial configuration that surrounds the first and the second emitter group. Each of the plurality of detectors can be positioned on the substrate a same distance away from the optical center of the substrate.

Abstract: A band configured to apply a force to a physiological sensor on a portion of a user's body can include an elastic segment, a first indicator, and a second indicator. The elastic segment can have a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and a first portion of the elastic segment can be secured to a second portion of the elastic segment to form a closed loop that can at least partially secure the physiological sensor to the portion of the user's body when in use. The first and second indicators can be spaced apart from one another and positioned along the elastic segment. The first indicator can be positioned closer to the first end than the second indicator. A relative distance between the first and second indicators can provide an indication of a desired stretch of the elastic segment.
