摘要： A self-contained antiseptic delivery system and methods of use are disclosed. The antiseptic delivery system is especially adapted for use in disinfecting skin at a surgical site prior to surgery. The system is defined by an applicator that is used with an antiseptic preparation. The applicator is a hand article encased by a protective sheath that defines an aseptic field. The system utilizes structures that allow the applicator to be maintained in an aseptic condition during storage, while enabling aseptic deployment of the applicator for use.
