Abstract: A pipe fitting stand for supporting a pipe during a work operation includes a table, and a plurality of legs coupled to the table and movable between a deployed position and a stowed position. The pipe fitting stand additionally includes a locking mechanism movable between a first position in which the locking mechanism engages at least one of the plurality of legs, and a second position in which the locking mechanism disengages the at least one of the plurality of legs. The locking mechanism is configured to secure the table in the stowed position in the second position.
