摘要: Systems and methods for braking a power tool using a stamped brake resistor. The power tool includes a motor, a trigger configured to be actuated, and a brake switch coupled to the motor. A brake resistor assembly is selectively coupled to the motor via the brake switch and includes a stamped brake resistor. The stamped brake resistor includes a terminal portion and a resistive portion. The resistive portion includes a planar serpentine path. A controller including an electronic processor and a memory is coupled to the trigger, the motor, and the brake switch, and is configured to control power delivered to the motor based on a position of the trigger, determine to brake the motor during operation of the motor, and activate, in response to determining to brake the motor, the brake switch to connect the stamped brake resistor to the motor.

摘要: A circular saw including a housing, a motor disposed within the housing, a spindle operable to be rotated by the motor, and a saw blade supported by the spindle for co-rotation therewith. The saw blade includes a hub portion located at a center of the saw blade and a blade portion extending therefrom. The hub portion is offset from the blade portion to define a pocket between the blade portion and the hub portion. The circular saw also includes a fastener securing the saw blade to the spindle. The fastener is at least partially recessed within the pocket.

摘要: An outdoor device comprising: a first blade comprising a first blade opening at a proximal end; a second blade comprising a second blade opening at a proximal end; a first cam coin comprising a first cam coin opening; a second cam coin comprising a second cam coin opening; an output gear comprising an output gear opening; and an output shaft comprising a first portion and a second portion, the first portion wider than the respective openings, the second portion wider than the output gear opening, wherein the respective openings are aligned to form a cam assembly, and wherein the output shaft is positioned through the respective aligned openings such that the cam assembly is positioned at a perpendicular plane respective to the second portion and supported for rotation about an axis to rotate eccentrically with respect to the output shaft axis.
