    Abstract: A motor control device includes an MCU and a predriver configuring at least a part of a circuit for controlling driving of a motor. The MCU includes a communication timing judgment portion, outputting a communication verification command when a diagnostic signal including information indicating whether the mechanism or equipment to be controlled by a combination of the MCU and the predriver is in a fail state is input from the predriver to the MCU; a signal content judgment portion, judging whether a content of the diagnostic signal is in the fail state when the communication verification command is input and outputting a communication execution command when the content of the diagnostic signal indicates the fail state; and a communication portion, executing a communication between the MCU and the predriver for reading fail information of the predriver when the communication execution command is input.

    Abstract: A motor control device according to the disclosure includes: a current control part, performing current control for rotating a motor from a stop state; a rotation speed calculation part, calculating an actual rotation speed of the motor; an acquisition part, acquiring a target rotation speed of the motor; a speed control part, performing speed control of the motor, so that the actual rotation speed of the motor becomes the target rotation speed; and a correction part, at a time when a current control state is transitioned to a speed control, correcting the target rotation speed based on a relation between the actual rotation speed and the target rotation speed. When the target rotation speed is corrected, the speed control part performs the speed control so that the actual rotation speed becomes the target rotation speed corrected by the correction part.

The communication timing judgment portion judges a timing that does not overlap with a timing at which noise occurs due to a factor other than the communication between the MCU and the predriver as the timing to execute the communication between the MCU and the predriver.
