摘要： An image processing apparatus includes a generator, a storage, an image data format converter, and a sender. The generator generates print image data for printing an image, based on image data sent from an external device. The storage stores the print image data. The image data format converter converts the print image data into image data in a format handled by an external device. The sender sends the converted image data via an IP (internet protocol) network to the external device. The image data format converter performs one of color space conversion, expansion, compression, resolution conversion, filtering, halftone processing, density gamma conversion, and noise removal in accordance with parameters determined based on at least one of property information of the print image data and property information requested by the external device.

摘要： An image processing system connects a plurality of clients to an image processing apparatus via a network. The image processing apparatus includes a reading device that reads an image of an original document and generates a prescribed image signal, an image data generating device that applies prescribed image processing to the image signal to generate image data, and a memory that stores the image data. A format converting device is provided to convert an image format of the image data selected from the memory by one of plurality of client apparatuses into a prescribed format in accordance with a format condition designated by the client apparatus. A delivering device is provided to deliver the image data to the client apparatus in the prescribed format.

摘要： An image processing apparatus implements appropriate image processing on image data stored in a storage unit of the image processing apparatus easily and efficiently, and distributes the image data to an external apparatus. An image format conversion unit implements image processing such as resolution conversion processing, filter processing, γ correction processing, and halftone processing on image data stored in an HDD serving as an image data storage unit so that the image data conform to conditions, such as image quality and format, specified by an external client apparatus. The image-processed image data are then distributed to the external client apparatus.

摘要： An image processing apparatus includes a reading device stationed at a reading position. The reading device includes a light source that emits a reading light to an original document passing through the reading position. A photoelectric conversion element is provided to convert the reading light reflected from the original document into image data. A shading correction function is provided to apply shading correction to the image data in accordance with reference data obtained from a reference white plate. A memory is provided to store at least a line of the image data. A dust position specifying device is provided to specify a position of dust by detecting presence of dust at predetermined positions on a light path extending from the light source to the photoelectric conversion element in accordance with the image data. A counting device is provided to count a number of appearance times of the dust per each of the predetermined positions. An appearance transition device is provided to store appearance transition data of the dust per each of the predetermined positions.

An image accumulation part accumulates, in a storage device, image data that are input in a first image kind mode. A data format conversion part converts the image data accumulated in the storage device by the image accumulation part to image data of a second image kind mode in accordance with a processing condition. An image data delivering part transmits, to an external instrument connected to the image processing apparatus via a network, the image data of the second image kind mode subjected to conversion by the data format conversion part.
