摘要： An electric fan comprises: a radial impeller for expelling the air trapped therein out of the impeller; a diffuser having a multiplicity of air passages separated by air guides, the air passages adapted to receive the air expelled from the impeller; a fan case for covering the impeller and the air guides; at least one throughhole which is formed in the fan case for each of the air passages; and a silencer equipped with a multiplicity of silencer cavities each having a predetermined volume and communicating with a corresponding one of the air passages, the silencer covering the fan case. The silencer is provided either on top of or beneath the fan case. Because the volumes of these silencer cavities may be chosen arbitrarily such that the silencer cavities may absorb noise caused by the interference between the impeller and the air passages, even audible noise may be suppressed sufficiently.

摘要： An automatic player piano is equipped with an electronic supporting system, which makes a player learn an optimum pedal stroke to a half pedal region; while the player is practicing a music tune on the piano, the electronic supporting system monitors the damper pedal; when the player starts to depress the damper pedal, the electronic supporting system exerts an assisting force on the damper pedal so as to make the player feel the damper pedal light; when the damper pedal reaches an entrance of the half pedal region, the electronic supporting system removes the assisting force from the damper pedal so that the player feels the damper pedal heavy, whereby the player learns the pedal stroke to the half pedal region through the change of load borne by the player.

摘要： A structure for supporting an air guide vane in a supply opening for air conditioning prevents abrupt changes of load resistance to rotation of the air guide van and provides a good operational feel when rotating the air guide vane. A supporting member of the air guide vane is an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness of between Shore A80 and Shore D60. The degree of mold transferability of olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer is characteristically lower than that of other thermoplastic elastomers. By virtue of molding an olefin-based thermoplastic elastomer microscopic concavities and convexities are formed on the surface of the supporting member. The rotation shaft of the air guide vane is supported by multiple point contacts with the inner surface respective through-holes.
