摘要: Processing techniques and device configurations for performing and controlling output effects at a plurality of wearable devices are generally described herein. In an example, a processing technique may include receiving, at a computing device, an indication of a triggering gesture that occurs at a first wearable device, determining an output effect corresponding to the indication of the triggering gesture, and in response to determining the output effect, transmitting commands to computing devices that are respectively associated with a plurality of wearable devices, the commands causing the plurality of wearable devices to generate the output effect at the plurality of wearable devices. In further examples, output effects such as haptic feedback, light output, or sound output, may be performed by the plurality of wearable devices, associated computing devices, or other controllable equipment.

摘要: This disclosure pertains to stimulation and monitoring devices for in utero cognitive stimulation of and interaction with developing fetuses by synthesizing sounds and sound patterns derived from movements of the fetuses' bodies and appendages. The exemplary stimulation and monitoring devices comprise arrays of sensors positionable above and/or the sides of the womb for detecting and recording movements of the fetus's body and appendages, one or more speakers, a microprocessor, controls, and optionally one or more light-emitting components. The collected movement data may be processed by a synthesizer for production of sound patterns and light patterns that are correlated with the movement data. The sound patterns and light patterns produced by the synthesizer may be transmitted through the speakers and the light-emitting components toward and into the womb to provide the development fetus with immediate cognitive stimulation in response to the movements of their body and appendages.

摘要: A lighting system adjustable in response to a musical sound input is provided, where the color properties of the lights and the intensity of the lights are varied according to the variation of the sound frequency and the volume. The sound frequency signal is correlated within a controller to a first light property setting; and the sound amplitude signal is correlated to a second light property setting. As the sound frequency signal is varied between a lower and upper range, the first light property setting is similarly adjusted between a lower and upper range. As the sound amplitude signal is varied within a range, the second light property setting is similarly adjusted by the controller between a lower and upper range. In this way, the controller adjusts the color and intensity of the light to correspond to the volume and musical note of a musical input, generally from an instrument.

In some cases, the static samples correspond to resonance sounds recorded for an instrument and are the same for every note. However, the dynamic samples may correspond to isolated sounds that are recorded for each variation of a note that can be played. In response to a user's selection of a note on a user interface of the virtual instrument, the virtual instrument may determine a rule for layering the various static and dynamic samples for playback.
