摘要: A method is disclosed for use by an Interrogating Call/Session Control Function (I-CSCF) of an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). In the method, a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message is received by the I-CSCF, which the I-CSCF attempts to forward to a Serving Call/Session Control Function (S-CSCF) of the IMS assigned to provide services to a user. If the attempt is determined to have failed, the I-CSCF sends a message to a Home Subscriber Server (HSS) of the IMS to request capabilities information for selecting a S-CSCF, the request message also providing first information relating to the status of the assigned S-CSCF. On receipt of the capabilities information at the I-CSCF from the HSS, the I-CSCF selects a replacement S-CSCF to provide services to the user. Related methods are also disclosed for use by the HSS and S-CSCF.

摘要: A power switch disposed in a housing includes a contact breaker configured to connect and disconnect a low-voltage switchgear from a power source supplying the low-voltage switchgear, a triggering device configured to disconnect the low-voltage switchgear in an overload event, a current detection device, a control device, a first evaluation device configured to evaluate an accidental arc overcurrent, and a second evaluation device configured to evaluate the accidental arc overcurrent. The power switch is configured to be activated via an overcurrent signal generated by an arc monitoring system in response to the accidental arc overcurrent. The overcurrent signal is linked to the at least one triggering signal. The second evaluation has a threshold above a threshold of the first evaluation device. The triggering device is configured to be activated via a turn-off pulse when a signal from the current detection device is above the threshold of the second evaluation device.

摘要: A circuit breaker for multi-phase power includes an opening-closing apparatus configured to open and close each phase of the multiphase power, a detection unit configured to detect a fault current in at least one phase of an electrical installation being protected by the circuit breaker, a plurality of connecting bars disposed on a load side of the circuit breaker, and a short circuiter disposed on the connecting bars and configured to produce a short circuit between the connecting bars if a fault current is detected by the fault-current detection unit. When a fault current occurs, a tripping signal can be transmitted by the detection system to the short circuiter. The circuit breaker is also fully operational, even without a function-activated short circuiter.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing an optical arrangement (10, 300), in which an optical component (355, 20) is optically connected to at least one waveguide (90, 320, 330) provided on or in a carrier substrate (100, 310). In order to enable an optical component to be connected to an optical waveguide of a carrier substrate in a particularly simple and thus cost-effective manner, the invention provides for there to be arranged between the optical component (20, 355) and the waveguide (90, 320, 330) an adjustment device (40, 350) with at least one auxiliary waveguide (60, 410, 440), the waveguide ends (50, 70, 400, 420, 430, 450) of which are in each case movable and an optical adjustment between the optical component (20, 355) and the waveguide (90, 320, 330) of the carrier substrate (100, 310) is effected by a mechanical adjustment of the movable waveguide ends (50, 70, 400, 420, 430, 450).

摘要: An electric power distribution switching device including a detector for detecting accidental arcs in the electric power distribution switching device, which detector includes at least one waveguide in which the light generated by the arc and reaching it via its casing is used as a triggering or warning criterion. The detector can include a support rod, a waveguide wound helically around the support rod, and two plug connectors fitted at the ends of the support rod. The detector also includes a heat-shrink sleeve which is permeable to light and UV radiation. The heat-shrink sleeve is fitted over the support rod, the waveguide and the plug connectors. A detector configured in this manner can prevent damage to the detector during installation or fitting in the switching equipment.
