摘要: Electrical stress control device for use with an end portion of a cable (1) having a central conductor (5) and a ground layer (15), the stress control device comprising an axial bore (170) into which the end portion of the cable (1) can be inserted, and two or more conductive or semiconductive stress control layers (110, 120, 130), at least parts of which are arranged concentrically around the bore (170) and concentrically with each other, characterized in that the end portion of the cable (1) can be inserted into the bore (170) in an axial direction (25) in such a way that the stress control layers (110, 120, 130) of the stress control device extend, in said axial direction (25), further towards the end (3) of the cable (1), than the ground layer (15) of the cable (1), as viewed in an axial longitudinal section, and in that a radially outer one of the stress control layers (110, 120, 130) extends, in said axial direction (25), further towards the end (3) of the cable (1) than a radially inner one of the stress control layers (110, 120, 130).
