摘要： In embodiments, cranberries are utilized at certain phases of development, prior to full red color development, which are typically characterized by an acid profile conducive to producing flavorful, high-value products, such as juices. At select phases of development, the berries have a quinic acid content which is similar to fully red berries but a citric acid content which is much higher than fully red berries. As a result, the juice from these berries can be used with less need to add citric acid or citric acid juice, like lemon juice, to modify flavor. The berries at the select phase of development typically have a light color, from pink to white, which can be quantified based on the anthocyanin level in the fruit or the resulting juice.

摘要： A pair of retractable leg assemblies for use in raising the frame of a motorcycle from the ground to permit servicing the same is disclosed. Each leg assembly includes a pair of telescopically engaged members having a cooperating pin and slot arrangement which enables them to be extended and locked simply by extending and twisting the same. Latching mechanisms are provided for releasably retaining the leg assemblies in either the retracted position for riding or the extended position for jacking. One of the leg assemblies enables the motorcycle to be jacked by rocking it side to side.

摘要： Methods and apparatuses for facilitating removal of a catheter from a patient are provided. A catheter removal device is disclosed comprising a gripping mechanism with at least two members each member having a proximal end and distal end. The distal end of the gripping mechanism having opposing clamping members which, when closed, approximate at least a portion of the outer circumference of a catheter securement device. The proximal end of the gripping mechanism has two handle members each having a loop structure to accommodate the thumb or finger, for example, of a medical practitioner. A middle portion of the gripping mechanism has a shank member wherein the at least two members are coupled together at a pivot point. A distal end of the clamping members has a taper to allow for dilation of tissue up to the location of the catheter securement device.
