    摘要: A sealing gasket assembly includes one or more carriers each having an offset flexible stopper portion spaced laterally outwardly away from an offset inner sealing portion that is adjacent an opening or other area requiring sealing between mating members adapted to be clamped together. An optional shim can be disposed adjacent to, and aligned with, the carrier. A resilient sealing material is applied to at least portions of the carrier and/or the shim, such as by screen printing, for example. The gasket assembly can be used advantageously in sealing applications such as those for cylinder heads and blocks, intake or exhaust manifolds, piping or other fluid conveying devices, housings, enclosures, or other situations where relative movement can occur between the members to be sealed to each other.

    摘要: An asymmetric bead formed in a gasket is provided. The gasket defines a plane. The bead includes a first half emboss portion positioned at a first angle to the plane of the gasket. A bead top portion is positioned parallel to the plane of the gasket and is connected to the first half emboss portion. A second half emboss portion is positioned at a second angle to the plane of the gasket and is connected to the bead top portion. The first angle is greater than the second angle so that the length of the first half emboss portion is shorter than the second half emboss portion and therefore, has a smaller surface area being acted on by a higher pressure fluid on the first half emboss portion so that the forces acting on the first and second half emboss portions are equalized.

    摘要: Methods for performing tracheal intubation of small animals are shown utilizing an endotracheal tube specifically designed for them. The endotracheal tube has a zigzag bend and a distal portion having an outwardly facing surface. The outwardly facing surface is used to depress the epiglottis of the animal thereby giving a doctor a clear view of the animal's trachea. The endotracheal tube also includes a tapered end which is easily inserted between the arytenoid cartilages of the larynx, and a pressure sensor which provides a quantitative indication of the air pressure within the cuff of the endotracheal tube.

    摘要: An inventive system and method for projecting user input on multiple third party viewable screens simultaneously is presented. The method comprises establishing an identity on the network and associating the identity with an identifier, uploading content onto the network using an apparatus, associating the content with the identifier, and distributing and projecting the uploaded content and the identifier to a plurality of devices simultaneously. The apparatus can be a mobile device, a game controller, iTV, or a computer. The devices can be mobile devices, game controllers, iTVs, TVs, event big screens, and computers. The user input can be text, SMS, email, and voice message. In one embodiment, establishing an identity includes logging-in to the network, registering, and selecting the identifier. Users of the devices can respond to the distributed content.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a portable tool kit which allows the organization and transportation of a complete set of hand tools by an individual to a remote repair location while leaving the individual's hands free. The invention has a front panel, a back panel, a top, a bottom, and at least two sides. Arm straps are attached to the back panel to enable a user to wear the portable tool kit like a backpack. The portable tool kit also has a plurality of vertically oriented tool storage compartments wherein each tool storage compartment lies in a plane which is substantially parallel to the front and back panels of the tool kit. Tool holders of various configurations are attached to panels making up the tool storage compartments. The various configurations of the tool holders are designed to accommodate a variety of different types and sizes of hand tools while holding the hand tools in place when the tool compartments are closed for transportation. Each tool compartment has an individual opening and sealing means.
