摘要: An acoustic wave resonator device comprises a substrate carrying a pair of spaced apart reflectors forming a resonant cavity that supports only three adjacent distinct resonant mode frequencies. An interdigital transducer is disposed on the substrate between the reflectors and includes an array of electrodes symmetrically arranged relative to a central point of the cavity to form a plurality of electrode pairs with the electrodes of each pair equally spaced on opposite sides of the central point. The central point of the cavity coincides with a node or an anti-node of the standing wave. If the two electrodes of each electrode pair are connected to the same terminal then the transducer has zero net coupling with one set of alternate modes of the cavity, whereas if said two electrodes are connected to opposite terminals then the transducer has zero net coupling with the other set of alternate modes.

摘要: In an acoustic wave device having a pair of spaced apart reflectors forming a resonant cavity, each reflector consists of an array of parallel reflective elements. At least one of the reflectors is weighted not by simple withdrawal of reflecting elements from a nominal uniform array but instead by substituting reflective elements of the uniform array with elements providing both net-zero reflection at required positions and also at least partial compensation for the velocity perturbation which would be produced by such simple withdrawal. Such weighting may be used to suppress the side lobes of the reflector response and hence improve the stopband performance of the acoustic wave device and, for example, a coupled resonator filter in which that device is incorporated.

摘要: A measurement means for a downhole tool for determining the orientation of the axis of a downhole tool in relation to true north. It includes a gyro sensor capable of measuring angular rate, a rotation means for rotating the gyro sensor about a sensor axis, a measurement means to detect the angular rate at the gyro sensor as it is rotated to form a series of readings, and a processor capable of interpreting the signal amplitude from the series of readings and determining the points of greatest signal amplitude. The processor is also being capable of comparing the phase difference between the actual readings taken against what would be generated with the sensor pointing true north thus providing a downhole tool axis angular deviation from true north. The rotation means rotates the gyro sensor in discrete steps.

摘要: A method, system and article of manufacture for query processing and, more particularly, for managing execution of a query against data in a database. One embodiment comprises receiving a query having (i) at least one result field configured to return data from at least one data record included with the database, and (ii) a query condition comprising a field and a query object associated with the field by an operator configured to select values for the field from the query object. The method further comprises determining whether the query object is configured to provide one or more valid values for the field. If the query object is not configured to provide one or more valid values for the field, the query object is transformed into a transformed query object that is configured to provide one or more valid values for the field. Then, the query is executed against the database.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention allow the results of a query to an operational datastore to be augmented with relevant data that may be stored in a staging area datastore. Upon receiving a query to the operational datastore, it is determined whether data relevant to the query is present in the staging area datastore. If relevant data is present, such data may be transformed, transferred and combined with data in the operational datastore. The query is then run against the combined data and the results displayed to the user.

摘要: A method, system and article of manufacture for data processing and more particularly for managing access to data in a database that should be available for a limited number of accesses. One embodiment provides a method comprising receiving, from a requesting entity, a query against a database having consumable data that is configured to be accessible for only a predefined number of accesses. The query is configured to access the consumable data and is executed against the database to obtain a query result that includes the consumable data. The method further comprises determining whether the predefined number of accesses is reached as a result of the execution of the query against the database. If so, the consumable data is made inaccessible. The obtained query result is returned to the requesting entity.

摘要: Methods, systems and articles of manufacture are provided for query evaluation. The query is evaluated upon inputting each incremental query element (or combination of element). Generally, for each incremental query element added, a query performance analysis is performed with respect to one or more runtime metrics such as total execution time and runtime resource consumption. The results of the analysis are provided as feedback to the user constructing the query.
