摘要： A request destination management table that stores therein a service ID uniquely identifying a service being interrelated with a request destination to which execution of a service is requested and a report destination management table that stores therein a call ID uniquely identifying a call being interrelated with a report destination of a call state transition report indicative of state transition of the call are provided. An IP telephone receives a request for a supplementary service, obtains a request destination corresponding to a service ID of the supplementary service from the request destination management table, and transfers the request for the supplementary service to the request destination. The IP telephone receives a call state transition report, obtains a report destination corresponding to a call ID of the call state transition report from the report destination management table, and transfers the call state transition report to the report destination.

摘要： A communication promotion method is provided to appropriately support communication by a plurality of users in different environments. A character 2, operable by an IRC client 5, is linked to or installed in a user terminal 8. An administration device 3 detects a specific event in a channel and sends a specific command to the IRC client 5 via IRC. Commands do not always have to be sent to all of the IRC client 5, and may be different according to the IRC client 5. The user terminal 8 detects the aforesaid command and sends it to the character 2. Characters at each user terminal 8 operate as specified by the command.

The parameter storage stores, in a manner associated with one another, identification information identifying multiple mobile terminal units, identification information identifying multiple points, identification information identifying service that the individual mobile terminal units can receive at the respective points, and identification information identifying management servers for managing the respective points. The comparator compares the identification information stored in the parameter storage and identifying the management servers with identification information transmitted from a mobile terminal unit at a point and identifying a management server. When agreement of the identification information is found as a result of the comparison, the notifier notifies the mobile terminal unit from which the identification information identifying the management server has been received that the mobile terminal unit is permitted to use the service.

The service selecting host is configured to collect data from the plurality of user terminals. The service selecting host compiles and sorts the collected data concerning IRC services to produce information provided to the user terminals. The information provided to the user terminals allows users at the user terminals to more easily select sorted IRC services.
