    摘要: A focusing detecting device is disclosed having apparatus for forming object light patterns whose relative position changes in conformity with a focus state of an objective lens. Light flux passes through different areas of an exit pupil of the objective lens, and circuitry receives and photoelectrically converts the light patterns, and detects the focus state of the objective lens on the basis of the photoelectrically converted signal. The focusing apparatus accroding to the present invention a plurality of sets of structures for forming light patterns and means for photoelectrically converting the light patterns which are provided at different distances from the position of the optic axis of the objective lens. Also disclosed are means for making (a) the shapes of the areas of the exit pupil through which the light flux is passed to form the light patterns, or (b) intervals between the centers of gravity of said areas, or (c) both, different between a position in the vicinity of the optic axis of the objective lens, and a position distant therefrom.

    摘要: A compact focus detecting device featuring increased optical paths includes a first detecting system having first light intensity distribution forming structure for forming a light beam passing through the objective lens a light intensity distribution of which varies in relative position according to the focus state of the objective lens. A first light receiving sensor receives the first light intensity distribution and outputs a first signal indicative of the focused state of the objective lens. The first detecting system has a first detection field and a first optical path. A second detecting system has a second detecting field with a center spaced apart from the center of the first detection field, and a second optical path. The second detecting system includes second light intensity distribution forming structure for forming from the light beam passing through the objective lens a light intensity distribution which varies in relative position according to the focused state of the objective lens. A second light receiving sensor receives the second light intensity distribution and outputs a second signal indicative of the focus state of the objective lens. A light transmitting optical member is provided for adjusting the length of the first and second optical paths. Preferably, the optical member comprises a block having an internal reflecting surface.

The focus of the objective lens is detected from the amount of relative deviation between the object images formed on the photoelectric conversion element array. The secondary imaging unit includes at least two members, a first member having a first pair of lens-acting surfaces and a second pair of lens-acting surfaces on one end thereof, and a second member having a first pair of prism surfaces and a second pair of prism surfaces which differ in refractive power from each other. The second member being fixed to the first member after being rotatively adjusted relative to the first member.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting the focus state of an optical system has optical apparatus for forming first and second light distributions of an object. The relative positional relationship of the light distributions varies in accordance with the focus state of the optical system. A light receiving device has first and second ranges, each having a plurality of picture elements. The first and second ranges respectively receive the first and second light distributions. Operation circuitry manipulates the output signals from the first and second ranges by relatively mathematically moving them to calculate a value representing the focus state of the optical system. The operation circuitry selectively executes a first operation in which the number of signals corresponding to each other is varied, and a second operation in which the number of signals corresponding to each other is kept constant.
